Dear Everyone, Being invigorated from our recent New York session and realizing that our next meeting is just around the corner, we wanted to keep ourselves on track and make sure that you are making your hotel and flight arrangements. We are eager to keep the momentum going after such a great gathering. The meeting in conjunction with UDMA was a huge success and we were all able to attend the special costume functions. This workshop in conjunction with UDMA’s preview show was a perfect example of Partnerships in the dance world . The panel on appropriate costuming was beautifully moderated by Rhee Gold and the audience was very energized by the discussion. We are very excited by the committee work that was initiated at this meeting and are looking forward to the reports. We are requesting that each committee turn in their report to Helene (our wonderful committee liason) by January 8th. The January meeting will be our first annual meeting under the new bylaws and we are encouraging each of you to invite at least one organization to attend. We will have a special speaker on marketing for dance and another social hour like last year. Just a friendly reminder to all of you to check your organizations’ webpage and be sure you have a link back to UNITY (www.unitydance.org). We are looking forward to seeing each of you in January!
